North Star Soapworks was born out of a love for the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest—the towering evergreens, misty coastlines, and the crisp, clean air after a storm. 

I’m Sherri Nordyke, the maker behind North Star Soapworks. Life here on the homestead is simple, but full—early mornings with the scent of pine trees, crisp evenings under an endless starlit sky, and the quiet satisfaction of creating something real with my own hands.

I started this journey with a desire to capture the essence of the Pacific Northwest and bring it into everyday life. I wanted scents that weren’t just fragrances, but experiences—ones that transport you to a windswept mountain trail, a cozy forest cabin, or the salty air of the Oregon coast.

The North Star is a guiding light—a constant in the night sky, leading travelers home. That’s what I hope North Star Soapworks becomes for you: a small piece of the Pacific Northwest, grounding and familiar, wherever you are.
